Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) we are back with a new resource program in 2018, the “Parents and Grandparents Program” for Canadian citizens and permanent residents willing to sponsor their parents and grandparents. So, mark up your calendars in order to apply as online form went live around 12 p.m. on January 2
and will be available until February 1, 2018, at 12 p.m.
Putting up with the Sponsor form is not a request but is your one-step forward in associating with the PGP Program. Allowing those Canadian citizens who are over the age of 18 sponsoring their parents and grandparents to Canada as permanent residents.
You may first have to interpret the eligibility conditions to ensure you pass the program. It may be inclusive of income claims, as the update to Sponsor form may ask you if you fulfill the Minimum Necessary Income (MNI) to support your sponsor.
IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) selects random sponsors from the Interest submissions received and invites the ones selected to apply to sponsor their parents and grandparents.
Sponsors registered online will be notified whether they have been invited or not.
Invited one’s will have 90 days to submit the complete application, including all supporting documents. IRCC states that it aims to receive 10,000 new applications in 2018.
